Poisonous mushrooms
The deadliest mushrooms are the death cap, destroying angel, funeral bell, deadly webcap and false morel. Cooking, drying and freezing do not make them safe, and symptoms of the worst poisonings can be delayed by many hours or days.
Suspect poisoning? Call your emergency number or poison centre right now (US: 1-800-222-1222; UK: NHS 111 or 999; EU: 112). Keep a sample of the mushroom. Read the full poisoning guide.
